KNOWING JESUS 3 (BY HIM WERE ALL THINGS CREATED)

One of the deepest mysteries of this kingdom is the mystery of the trinity, may God grant us inspiration, light and direction to explore this soon amen. About the Godhead one clear truth is that there is no power tussles of any sort, there are clear delegation and representations and an understanding that is simply divine. John 10:30 says I and my father are one.

God is surely not the author or promoter of confusion 1 Cor 14:3 says for God is not the author of confusion but of peace, as in all the churches of the saints.
Eph 3:9 says And to make all men see what is the fellowship of the mystery which is from the beginning of the world hath been HID IN GOD, who CREATED ALL THINGS BY JESUS CHRIST. This scripture clearly states that all things were created by Jesus Christ.

Psalm 33:6 says by the WORD OF THE LORD were heavens made and all the host of them by the breadth of His mouth. This states that by the word of the Lord was creation done.
John 1:3 & 14 says ALL THINGS WERE MADE BY HIM and without him was not anything made that was made.

And the WORD WAS MADE FLESH and DWELT among us and we beheld His glory the glory of the only BEGOTTEN of the father full of grace and truth.
Knowing full well that there is only one person being referred to as the only begotten of the father, (The Gospel according to John 3:16 says For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten son….) and from the foregoing Jesus Christ is the word of God, since the world came into being by His spoken words (Gen 1 has a lot of   “And God said”…….) then the world came into being by and for Jesus Christ Halleluyah.
By Jesus were all things made!!! Halleluyah to Jesus. I celebrate you now and always my father.

WORSHIPPERS

Worship is a spiritual expression of a heart of gratitude for who He is, what He has done and what he will do. God’s spirit in us must be focused and projected to heavens in worship.

Worship is a lifestyle viz; how we live, how we talk, how we dress, how we relate with people places we visit and all of who we are must glory to God.

Rom 12:1 says I beseech you therefore brethren by the mercies of God that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy acceptable unto God which is our reasonable service or acceptable worship.

But here we look at the attitude of eulogizing God in and with the fruit of our lips as worship. The mission statement of God the son is in Acts 10:38 which says

How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with Holy Ghost and with power WHO WENT ABOUT DOING GOOD and healing all that were oppressed of the devil for God was with him......(emphasis mine).....

KNOWING JESUS 2 (IMAGE OF THE INVISIBLE GOD)

After the Adamic experience, it pleased the trinity that the next and only image of the God head that the world should and did experienced and will experience very soon is Jesus our Lord and saviour, Halleluyah to the coming king.

Col 2:9 says for in him dwelleth all the fullness of the Godhead bodily.
1 Tim 3:16 And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness, God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the gentiles, believed on in the world received up to glory.

Human beings are surely governed by what we can see hence God gave man Jesus so that through Him (Jesus) we see God both in acts and in spirit.
Little wonder, no human input was allowed in the conception so as not to distort God’s perfect image and full potency.

The Image how?
a.       He came from heaven: John 6:36a For I came down from heaven.
b.       God is His Father: Matt 3:17 and lo a voice from heaven, saying this is my beloved son, in whom I am well pleased.
c.       He remained connected to heaven (His father) and did His bidding. Matt 26:39 And he went a little further and fell on His face, and prayed, saying my father if it be possible, let this cup pass over me nevertheless not as I will but as thou wilt.
d.      He returned to Heaven Acts 1:9 and while he had spoken these things, while they beheld, he was taken up, and a cloud received him out of their sight.
e.      We get to God through His Image. Act 4:12 neither is there salvation in any other name, for there is none other name under heaven given among men whereby we must be saved.
   Jesus is the Image of the invisible God, whose Image can you be linked with considering your attitude in your neighborhood? Display Jesus today he loves you overwhelmingly.

ICT AND THE CHURCH

INTRODUCTION: Before the huge increase in the number of church membership and advent of technological advancements, the church was managed from the pulpits, bulletins, Notice boards and via mouth to mouth. Now owing to the aforementioned it has become imperative for us to study and properly harness ICT. May God help us as we study this.

DEFINITION OF TERMS:
ICT is an acronym
I   = Information
C=Communication
 T= Technology
Information=processed data.
Communication=exchange/sharing of information.
Technology= this is the development and application of devises and apparatus for predetermined productive purposes.
(ICT is therefore the usage of devices and gadgets and advancements to share information among other uses)
THE CHURCH= This is the gathering of the called out ones, the bride of Christ, the gathering of those saved by the precious blood of Jesus, the group of people who believe in the manger born, earthly ministry, death on the cross, the resurrection and the ultimate second coming of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.

BASIC ICT TOOLS AVAILABLE FOR CHURCH USE:
1. Face book                                                            8. Whats-app
2. Twitter                                                                9. Websites
3. Google plus.                                                       10. BBM
4. Skype                                                                 11. Streaming
5. E-mail                                                                12.Customised Bulk SMS (CBC)
6. Blog                                                                   13.Radio and Television
7. Phone number

ROLES OF ICT

1. It gives the church a twenty-first century status.
2. If adequately harnessed, gives up to date information on church activities and serves as a medium for feed-back and one on one ministration.
3. It is an evangelistic tool: It is used by some ministries in propagating the message of the cross because of the quantum of users that it attracts.
4.   It serves as a security and service enhancing tools: the usage of LCD’s/LED's/other screens , projectors, CCTV’S, Metal detectors, Electronic pulpits and fencing in this era of insecurity are value addition to the church.
5. It provides the fastest means of disseminating information to a huge recipient.
6. It builds bond and togetherness in the church: churches with large followership may find it difficult to have personal interactions with members within the few hours of worship, ICT and social media provides this ample medium.

PITFALLS OF ICT

1.      Ignorance and conservatism.
2.      It can become idols
3.      It is expensive (installing, service & maintenance)
4.      Uncensored content(especially for immature Christians)
5.      It could be a time waster.
6.      It births unemployment.

CONCLUSION

Technology rules the world but the Holy Spirit rules every true church, Moreover to fulfill purpose in this century all churches need to employ all ICT she can afford to reach out to the world. SHALOM.
