ZEALOUS

A man with zeal will accomplish so much more than a man with skill only. It is said that life is made up of 1% inspiration but 99% perspiration.

Talents, skills and trainings are invaluable assets of any workforce but zeal powers them all, phones, computer, vehicles no matter how recent, beautiful and expensive they cannot do anything or go anywhere without something to power it.

The gospel (which is the essence of a church and by extension the worker) requires urgency that a slow or cold workforce cannot understand or handle.

2 Cor 6:2 For he saith, I have heard thee in a set time accepted in the day of salvation have I succoured thee, behold now is the accepted time behold now is the day of salvation.

Rev 3:16 So then because thou art lukewarm and neither cold nor hot, I will spit thee out of my mouth.

GOD RESTORES

We serve a speaking God, and has ministers who are always speaking His mind, giving us instruction needed for the construction of the glorious destination we are created to unveil, God has also wired everything in life to speak to us but we seldom listen nonetheless hear (even the day to day utters speech Psalm 19:2) because we are too engrossed in ourselves and the things of the world like Martha bothered with kitchen chores for the master

Luke 10:41 Jesus answered and said unto her, Martha, Martha, thou art careful and troubled about many things.42 but one thing is needful and Mary hath chosen that good part, which shall not be taken from her .may we receive grace to never miss God’s message(s) for us.

And God will not give further message when we did not obey the last one in fact …God does not give specific instructions to people who did not obey general instructions….(adapted from anonymous).And when God seems quiet we need to check our ways and tune our frequency to His.

With all the aforementioned ,God is love 1 John 4:8 he that loveth not knoweth not God for God is love. He loves us beyond our reasoning, He thus orchestrates our coming back to Him/His instructions/His purpose no matter the extent of our straying/escapades all he seeks us do is to surrender all to Jesus indeed.

Just like in musical notation there is these set of things referred to as accidentals which could be a sign, flats ,sharps or naturals, while all the former alters the note the last one( naturals) restores to its originality, our God is a God of restoration.
He restored Abram by His mighty hand, even better than the way He went down a grace not too common, Gen 13:1-2, Naomi can’t tell same story. He will restore you and me in Jesus name. Shalom and have a blessed sunday service tomorrow.

FAITHFULL

Faithfulness is what qualifies for promotion in God’s kingdom, if you are faithful in little things you will be faithful in large ones. Luke 16:10 NLT 

It is also undoubtedly a required standard for workers in His vineyard we will always need to raise our games to His standard as He cannot lower His for any reason/person.

Acts 10:34 says then peter opened his mouth and said of a truth I perceived that God is no respecter of persons.

Rom 2:11 says for there is no respect of persons with God.

The word faithful according to the new eight edition Oxford advanced learner dictionary amongst many other means timely and accurate, not changing anything which means it is either 100% or nothing.

OBEDIENCE

Workers in God’s vineyard are soldiers of Christ hence the need to obey divine order wholly and promptly.

2Tim 2:3 Then therefore endure hardness as a good soldier of Jesus Christ.

What put a total end to the reign of king Saul over God’s people, the children of Israel was disobedience to instruction.

I Sam 15:23 for rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft and stubbornness is as iniquity and idolatry because thou has rejected the word of the Lord, he hath also rejected thee from being king.

What will make some people to spend eternity in hell under Satan direct companionship is disobedience to God’s offer of salvation.

THE PRAYERFUL

One rationally directs a problem to someone who can solve it or has an idea of who can.

As workers in God’s vineyard with the understanding of having a God who can do all things Luke 1:37 

for with God nothing shall be impossible. 

 It is only paradoxical that we tell everyone else our problem(s), issues(s) except God the only one who can solve all problems,without making a show of it directly or indirectly.

‘what a friend we have in Jesus all our sins and grieve to bear’ Hymn extract.

As His employee He gave us a name JESUS and a process that is capable of producing any product PRAYER 

Phil 2: 9-10 wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name.

That at the name of Jesus every kneel must bow, of things in heaven and things in earth and things under the earth.
