Text:- Prov 16v14.
This will be discussed
in the following headings.
- Forward
- Definition
- Why will a King be
Angry?
- Conclusion.
- FORWARD:- Often time
anger is a show of love, concern and care for something / someone who now
behaves/ comes out in a way that's short of the norm| standard or expectation.
- DEFINITION:- A king is
one who leads a monarchy, A male ruler of an independent state| Settlement|City
or area.
Anger is a strong
feeling of displeasure and hostility.
- Why will a King be
Angry?
(1) Unloyal subjects:
The first out the ten commandments borders on
loyalty Ex 20:3 THOU SHALL NOT
SERVE ANY GOD BESIDES ME. Are we still loyal to our king?
(2) Injustice: Ps 89:14a Says Justice and
Judgment are the habitation of thy throne, King David when he received the
message from the king of kings stating His displeasure on the injustice done in
his kingdom, passed a judgment on himself 2 Sam 12v5. Are we using throne and
other other privileges that God gave us justly?
(3) Disobedience: This
king permitted the children of Israel to runaway and be killed by a small town
Ai owing to disobedience. Joshua 7:1 ff.disobedience kills flee from it.
(4) Encroachment: Just
like king Edom replied the children of Israel who wanted to pass through his
land so will God when anyone touches what and who is His. Num 20:17. Ps 105:15
says Touch not mine anointed and do my prophet no harm. King Herod did not live
to tell the story as he encroached on God's space (glory) Acts 12:23. Mark
12:17 says And Jesus answering said unto them, render to Ceaser the things that
are Ceaser's and to God the things that are God's. Some things| persons are for God, may we not
be found kicking against the pricks Act 9:4-6.
- CONCLUSION:- God is
our king and the bible says in Ps 7:11b and God is angry with the wicked
everyday, there is no wickedness that is
greater than the rejection of the atonement and salvation that brought divinity
to humanity, rejecting and belittling
the work of the cross this will lead to full blown anger of God Hell. Don't be
a candidate of God's anger, no human can bear it.
SHALOM.
