TRUST IN GOD 3

               

Text: Hab 3:17-19, Psalm 125:1, Job 13:15

·         How to trust God

1.      Know God as the source of all good things: James 1:17 says every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the father of lights, with whom is no variableness neither shadows of turning. ALL good things either those we have already or long for is from God, our father in heaven.

2.      Taking our problems to Him with faith for a solution: Matt 11:28 says come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden and I will give you rest.Jer 33:3 says call unto me, and I will answer thee and shew thee great and mighty things which thou knowest not. When we take all of our problems to God and Him alone we are displaying and developing in our trust of Him.

3.      Studying, Meditating and practicing the scriptures:  it’s by studying the scriptures that the foundation of our trust in God and also our faith in built. Faith comes by hearing and hearing the word of God. Roman 10:17.we cannot trust who we do not know, the bible is replete with who God is and what He can do have you read yours today.

CONCLUSION

We live in times where people trust in their knowledge, education, sophisticated technology, high detailed and dedicated security apparatus/personnels, stupendous wealth or highly placed and bonded connections. Psalm 20:7 says some trusts in chariots and some in Horses but we will remember the name of the Lord our God. Some this often fails please don’t be caught in such web of confusion, stand out for God.
