CAN ANY GOOD COME OUT OF NAZARETH CONCLUSION

GOD AND THOSE WRITTEN OFF
1.He raises men from unexpected backgrounds.1 Sam 2:8 says he raiseth the poor our of the dust and lifteth up the beggar from the dunghill to set them among the princes and to make them inherit the throne of glory for the pillars of the earth are the Lords’ and hath set the world upon them. God specializes in raising men from unexpected backgrounds and crowning them.
2. Creates a Surprise with them: John 9:9 says some said this is he, others said he is like him but he said I am he.
3. Uses them to publicize His glory: John 9:3 says Jesus answered neither hath this man sinned nor his parents but that the works of God should be made manifest. God changes people’s destiny, surprises mockers, does what is unexpected positively in a life for His glory.

                                                             CONCLUSION
God does not need our family: history, status, location, where we hail from to make greatness and a name out of us. He is able to turn all situations around. Eph 3:20 says now unto Him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think according to the power that worketh in us. Halleluyah.

CAN ANY GOOD COME OUT OF NAZARETH 2.

                                              UNDERSTANDING NAZARETH

(a)    The biblical Nazareth: It was not mentioned in the Old testament, our saviour when in human form grew up and started his ministry there but due to hostility He had to relocate to Carpernaum. The name perhaps means a watch tower to some, and it is situated in the southern ridge of Lebanon 14 miles from the sea of Galilee and about 6 miles west from mount Tabor identified with modern en-Nazarah. Has a population of about six-ten thousand.(one wonders how many people were there in Jesus’ time)(illustrated bible dictionary).

(b)   The now Nazareth: this refers to your life and my life, business, career, family and ministry that has been gauged, measured, predicted and insulted.

WHY PEOPLE ARE WRITTEN OFF BY OTHERS

1.      Who they are or what they have done to the individual: John 11:24 says Martha said unto Him I know that he shall rise again in the resurrection at the last day. This was what she said due to the fact her brother has been physically buried she wasn’t expecting anything rather than decay to happen to her brother, this could also be spiritual (may God give us understanding). Some persons who are bosses to others could by the reason of who they write off others.

2.      Level of exposure or educational background: Acts 2:7-13 according to the KJV version of the bible there were three reactions to speaking in tongues by the Christ ordained apostles: amazement, doubt and mockery, and this is due to no other reason than the fact they accessed their level of exposure and education and this does not tally with their speaking of international languages.

3.      Present situation/predicament:   2kings 6:28-30 tells of a situation of famine so terrible that women agreed to eat the children they gave birth to in turns and a problem ensued. Fast-forward to  2kings 7:1-2  which says Then Elisha said, hear ye the word of the Lord, thus saith the Lord, Tomorrow about this time shall a  measure of flour be sold for a shekel and two measures of barley for a shekel in the gate of Samaria.2. Then the lord on whose hand the king leaned answered the man of God and said behold, if the Lord would make windows in heaven might this thing be? he doubted God’s word because he properly understood the present situation at the expense of God.are we better today?

4.            Connections: people can look at the connections that one has and be able to conclude what outcome life has in stock for the person knowing fully well that association matters in a person’s life. Little wonder John 5:7 says the impotent man answered him sir, I have no man, when the water is troubled to put me into the pool, but while I am coming another steppeth down before me.  The man obviously had two problems he was impotent and had nobody to help him, hence he was there      for thirty eight years.

5.            History/statistics/facts: they say history repeat itself, but I will rephrase that history unchecked    repeats itself. Kind David’s father wasn’t a king. Is 43:19 says Behold I will do a new thing now it    shall spring forth shall ye not know it I will even make a way in the wilderness and rivers in the desert.

CAN ANY GOOD COME OUT OF NAZARETH 1 ?

TEXT: John 1:46, 7:41&42, 7:52.

The topic is broken into the following headings:

·         INTRODUCTION
·         UNDERSTANDING NAZARETH
·         WHY PEOPLE ARE WRITTEN OFF BY OTHERS
·         GOD AND THOSE WRITTEN OFF.
·         CONCLUSION

                               INTRODUCTION

Only God has the capacity to determine and tell precisely a person’s future Jer 1:5 says before I formed thee in the in the belly I knew thee and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee and I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations.

Alas some people put themselves in God’s position and think for one reason or the other nothing good or new or great can come out of anybody’s life. Gen 37:20 says come let us slay him and cast him into the pit and we will say some evil beast hath devoured him WE SHALL SEE WHAT WILL BECOME OF HIS DREAMS (emphasis mine) these are the brethren of Joseph thinking they had frustrated his dream but God turned it around. Gen 42:8 says And Joseph knew his brothers but they knew him not,the transformation beats their imagination, and can not fit into their wildest dream, they never thought of meeting him let alone meeting him in such place this will be our testimony this year in Jesus name.

MY BIRTHDAY GIFT.

TRUST IN GOD( FULL TEXT)

Text: Hab 3:17-19, Psalm 125:1, Job 13:15

The lesson will be studied under the following sub-headings:
·         Introduction
·         What is trust
·         Why should we trust God
·         How to trust God

INTRODUCTION
Our strength cannot see us through to our God ordained destination/destiny. There is a place called destiny, Jacob got there in Gen 26:12 which says Then Isaac sowed in that land and received in the same year an hundredfold, and the Lord blessed him. Isaac had been a farmer by default but hasn’t got the magnitude of blessing he got when he leaned on God’s directive, he trusted in God and got the reward. Little wonder the scriptures says in 1 Sam 2:9c for by strength shall no man prevail.
God has not made us to rely on our strength, qualifications, associations or achievement, Jer 17:5 says Thus saith the Lord, cursed be the man that trusted in man and maketh flesh his arm, and whose heart departeth from the Lord. Elijah was an ordained prophet and he was held in high esteem by all and sundry even by kings, but at a point he had to enjoy commanded blessings, an angel fed him, a Raven fed and a widow fed him.1kings 17:6, 17:15, and 19:5.
God did not make anything/anyone who will be independent of Him, the earlier we came to realize and take appropriate actions in this regard the earlier we arrived at the God ordained destination for our lives. May God bless us as we go through the study in Jesus name.

·         What is trust: according to online dictionary it is confidence in or reliance on some quality or person.
·         Trust is what keeps our focus on God irrespective of what the outcome/output of our life is as children of God is for NOW. Romans 8:28 says and we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are called according to his purpose.

WHY SHOULD WE TRUST GOD

1.      He loves us genuinely: John 15:13 says greater love hath no man than this that a man lay down his life for his friends. A love that is so true, so pure, and so irreplaceable that made divinity become humanity. A love so incomparable.
2.      He has great plans for us: If we could access God’s mind towards us we will be super excited. Jer. 29:11 says for I know the thought that I think toward you saith the Lord they are thoughts of peace, not of evil, to give you an expected end.
3.      He keeps His word/doesn’t disappoint: Mark 13:31 says Heaven and Earth shall pass away but my (God’s) words shall not pass away, Is 40:8 says the grass withereth the flower fadeth, but the word of our God shall stand for ever. Psalm 34:5 says looked unto Him and were lightened and their faces were not ashamed. Once he says it, it stays, it must come to be.
4.      His power never fails: No power can outwit that of God, Psalm 62:11 God hath spoken once, twice have I heard this that power belongeth unto God. He has never and will never lose any battle halleluyah.
5.      He has absolute Knowledge: He has total and unrivalled knowledge of things he knows the way things are, why they are thus and how and why they will be in both near and far future.

·         How to trust God
1.      Know God as the source of all good things: James 1:17 says every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the father of lights, with whom is no variableness neither shadows of turning. ALL good things either those we have already or long for is from God, our father in heaven.
2.      Taking our problems to Him with faith for a solution: Matt 11:28 says come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden and I will give you rest.Jer 33:3 says call unto me, and I will answer thee and shew thee great and mighty things which thou knowest not. When we take all of our problems to God and Him alone we are displaying and developing in our trust of Him.
3.      Studying, Meditating and practicing the scriptures:  it’s by studying the scriptures that the foundation of our trust in God and also our faith in built. Faith comes by hearing and hearing the word of God. Roman 10:17.we cannot trust who we do not know, the bible is replete with who God is and what He can do have you read yours today

CONCLUSION
We live in times where people trust in their knowledge, education, sophisticated technology, high detailed and dedicated security details, and stupendous wealth or highly placed and bonded connections. Psalm 20:7 says some trusts in chariots and some in Horses but we will remember the name of the Lord our God. Some this often fails please don’t be caught in such web of confusion, stand out for God.
