Pots usually calls kettle black so goes the aged saying, Jesus gave an advice that has a close meaning to the saying

Matt 7:5 says Then hypocrite, first cast out the beam out of thine own eye and then shall thou see clearly to cast out the mote out of thy brother’s eye.

Another close illustration was given by our Master and Rabbi in John 8:7 says

So when they continued asking him, he lifted up himself and said unto them he that is without sin among you let him cast the first stone.

A lot of people would rather belong to the ‘censors board’ rather than ‘producers board’ always looking at the negative aspect, looking for what is wrong even amidst seeming right, half empty perspective, will assume, appropriate and see everything wrong with everyone aside themselves, this is the rebirth of Pharisees, Sadducees still in the synagogue today.

COMING TOGETHER NOT FOR THE BETTER 4

The apostles who were trained, empowered and commissioned for an assignment by the Master Rabbi our Lord and Saviour would have either been settling quarrels or distributing food at best but for a God permitted situation and nudge of the Holy Spirit for the solution hence they declared their resolution of purpose Acts 6:4 says but we will give ourselves continually to PRAYER and to the MINISTRY OF THE WORD. This led to the appointment of deacons who took care of this and they had time and energy to focus on their purpose. The aftereffect is in Acts 6:7a this says and the word of God increased and the number of the disciples multiplied in Jerusalem GREATLY. (As if multiplied wasn’t enough)

Food and merriment are needed to sustain the human life as long as we are still in the flesh, it is an essential call of nature, it is imperative and leads to growth and development with exceptions to when we are waiting on God. However this can be wrong if is done wrongly, or in a wrong place, in a wrong proportion or for a wrong purpose or intention, little wonder Ecclesiastes 10:17 says blessed are thou o land when thy king is the son of nobles and thy princes eat in due season for strength and not for drunkenness. This underscores that there is a right reason for eating among other things. 

If the number of times, efforts expended and hype given to food, swag, entertainment, merriment and all other forms of bazaar in any gathering of saints is more than that given to the word, prayer and fasting among other things there is an error of purpose and an irregularity, this is to by God’s grace address such.

The only time resources were thrown down in Jesus ‘s ministry was when  people wanted to change the essence of the temple Matt 21:13 which says And said unto them it is written my house shall be called the house of prayers but ye made it a den of thieves .Are we not guilty of same offense today.

OUR COMING TOGETHER MUST BE FOR THE BETTER.

In Jesus name may we receive grace to do the right things only in Jesus name.

No meal has only sweeteners’ as ingredients, balance is the key to life. It surely will have other ingredients. If our inspirations are from the Holy Spirit it should be a section of the whole truth. Acts 20:27 says for I have not shunned declaring unto you ALL THE COUNSEL of God. There is the whole truth or all the counsel of God. I pray in Jesus name may we not have a case of spiritually Mal-nutrition in Jesus name.

The essence of this as led by the Holy Spirit is to examine so as to avert the impediment of our coming together for the better as stated in the anchor scripture 1 Cor 11:17 ff which is God’s ultimate intention. As such this is not intention-ed to anyone or group but unveiled as given by God.

Where two or more are gathered in my name there I am in the midst of them (Matt 18:20). This clearly means God is present in any gathering of His children. It is therefore disrespect to God and as insult to His children for anyone to use His house to say/state/teach/preach something inconsistent with the word of God. The house of God is not a political space to be used to promote a view, settle scores, or a launching pad against physical enemies John 4:24 says that God is spirit and they who will worship him must do so in spirit and in truth. We will account for all we do. Romans 14:12 says so then every one of us shall give account of himself to God. We should be able to say like the psalmist in Psalm 119: 113 which says I hate vain thoughts but thy law do I love.

Heresies could be taken as facts or truth by babes and there is no church filled with all babes or all adults hence there are people to mislead always. The higher the office the greater the decorum displayed little wonder Habakkuk 2:20 says but the Lord is in His holy temple let all the earth keep silence, this does not mean we should be static and not say amen even when prayers are said but that our AFFAIRS should be moderated, there should be decorum.

Heresy are beliefs that deviates from biblical standard, the authority of the church is the word of God which is God himself no more no less John 1:1 says in the beginning was the word and the word was with God and the word was God. Read, think, talk, teach, discuss and be a doer of the word.

ARE NOT LAZY

One of the few places in the scripture where we (Human) were directed to learn from animals teaches right work.

Prov 6:6 Go to the ant, thou sluggard, consider her ways and be wise.

Another scripture that is in tandem with the aforementioned is 

Rom 12:11 Not slothful in business, fervent in spirit serving the Lord.

The word worker is not a name tag for a set of people but has in it a word work (verb) which depicts someone who actually does something, being a worker in His vineyard and must be deemed and handled as such.

Laziness is an attitude, attitude are not situational or determined by place, cannot be feigned for long hence one cant be hardworking academically or in his or her office and do less spiritually or otherwise.

Anybody that hates hard work will have hard life – Bishop David Oyedepo

1 Cor 3:6 says I have planted, Apollos water, but God gave the increase.
God uses all men carrying His gifts and grace that are available to raise and water His church, He owns the church Matt 16:18 says And I say unto thee, that thou art Peter and upon this rock I WILL BUILD MY CHURCH and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.


It is imperative to know the aforementioned as this will make us look up appropriately unto the one who died for His church only Heb 12:2 says looking unto Jesus the author and the finisher of our faith (this is not a way to support disrespect to men God used and still uses to raise or water His church but to direct our focus appropriately) and also a case against schism brewers in the name of enjoying Pauline or Appolos like grace or mischief makers for or with such. 

If Jesus died to kick start the church He won’t spare anything/anyone that stands against her unity don’t be against God it is kicking against the prick Acts 26:14b says It is hard for thee to kick against the pricks. It is like trying to remove a mountain by kicking with bare feet. 

This is not the only cause of division in the body of Christ but whatever it is desist from being an agent of division. By prophecy and principle the devil is clearly no match for Christ church but he has been around for a while, he deploys all his arsenals to hinder knowledge Hosea 4:6a says My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge, and also tries to persuade us to continue to break principles of unity so as to lack the potency therein. Hear the word of our master be wise in Matt 10:16 it says behold I send you forth as sheep in the midst of wolves, be ye therefore wise as serpents and harmless as doves.

1 Cor 14:33 says God is clearly not the author of confusion but peace as in all churches of saints. God doesn’t use what he didn’t source/create (there a whole lot of man-made or demonic created things and process division is clearly one of them.)WE HINDER GODS MOVE WHEN WE PERMIT OR PROMOTE DIVISIONS AMONGST US.
Hear God calling today say no to all appearance of division, YOU ARE GREAT.

THE FRUITFUL

Any tree that is not fruitful is just occupying space and also wasting the resources it is deriving from the soil and is sincerely not needed.

Matt 7:19 Every tree that bring not forth good fruit is hew down and cast into the fire.

God is a God of continuity, and also fruitfulness is a command of God from all that is created which we are chief amongst as humans.

 Gen 1:28 And God blessed them and God said unto them. BE FRUITFUL and multiply and replenish the earth and subdue it and have dominion over the fish of the sea and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.

Using the principle of fruitfulness, God wanted children of all the world, Jesus Christ was used as the fruitful seed.

John 12:24 Verily, verily I say unto you except a corn of wheat falls into the ground and dies it abideth alone, but if it dies it might bringeth forth much fruits.

John 3:16 For God so loved the world that he gave His only begotten son that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.
